Four ways to support the arts
At The Collectors Circle we often talk about making an impact – how you and I can make an active contribution to the art world. Especially during these complicated times, supporting the arts is more important than ever. What can you do?
- Dutch museums are struggling harder than ever, with losses of 300 million in the past year. Support our museums by simply buying a ticket and visiting your local museum, and consider becoming a friend of your favorite museum.
- Also consider supporting institutions like the Rijksakademie and De Ateliers, which play an essential role in bringing forth a new generation of artists. They also have interesting friend programs!
- The Kunstkoop is back! With the Kunstkoop, artists and galleries, both an essential part of the art’s ecosystem, get paid immediately when you make your purchase. You, on the other hand, can pay off your artwork in three years at 0% interest, but you can take it home with you immediately. Now is the time to finally buy the work you’ve been thinking about: saving the art world, one artwork at a time!

Because of The Collectors Circle’s outreach, we bring a lot of artists and institutions to the attention of a large audience, and spread the word that supporting art doesn’t have to be complicated, or only for people with a large wallet.
