Programme
Join us from 4 – 7 February for a trip to thé up-and-coming hotspot for contemporary art: Mexico City. Over the past few years, the city has undergone a remarkable transformation and is now celebrated for its vibrant art scene. At the heart of this trip is Mexico City Art Week, the perfect moment to discover the city through the lens of contemporary art.
We’ve put together a varied program, one of the highlights being Zona Maco, the art fair that takes place during Art Week. As the largest art fair in Latin America, it brings together more than 200 galleries from over 25 countries, ranging from major international players to emerging Mexican galleries. Throughout our program in the city, you’ll discover the thriving gallery scene and iconic art institutions such as La Cuadra, meet emerging artists in their studios, and get a rare look inside remarkable private collections. Alongside all the art, there’s also plenty of room to socialize: you’ll get to know your fellow travelers over a festive cocktail moment and a shared dinner, both included in the program.
Since Mexico City is such a popular destination, we recommend adding a few extra days (or weeks) to your stay in Mexico. This way, you can explore not only the artsy highlights at the heart of the journey of The Collectors Circle, but also the country’s must-see sites: from the city’s vibrant historical centre to the nearby ancient Aztec ruins at Teotihuacan. Of course, we’re happy to share a list of must-sees with you.
