Think art is complicated or just for the happy few? We’d love to prove you wrong. At The Circle, we’ll show you how to start collecting with any budget and without prior knowledge. We take you behind the scenes, introduce you to artists and gallerists, share insider tips and perhaps most importantly: we help you to build confidence. Because it’s true, the art world can feel a bit intimidating at first. White walls, large and empty gallery spaces, prices mysteriously hidden… We make sure you know exactly where to go and we’ll show you how to recognise quality and to spot emerging trends. Not sure about your taste yet? By seeing a lot of art and talking to experts, you naturally develop your own signature taste, shaped by the topics that matter to you.

So where do you start? The Circle guides you through the art world with masterclasses, short deep dives that help you level up fast, studio visits, talks and salons with specialists from the field, guided tours to private art collections, fairs, auction houses and museums, plus a range of other exclusive events in a relaxed and accessible setting. During our socials, you’ll connect with fellow art lovers at unique art locations. Our events take place in the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as online.

We are idealists at heart. We believe that collecting is more than finding a work to hang above your sofa. It is a way to support artists and, by extension, the wider art ecosystem. Collectors play a key role in a thriving art scene, which means buying art can become a way to make an impact, to amplify the voices you value and to support them financially. The work of contemporary artists, often from your own generation, often resonates with themes that matter right now, whether political, personal or societal. That is why we show you the art world in all its colour and plurality. Our motto? Saving the art world, one work at a time.

Terms and conditions
- These terms and conditions apply to the membership of The Collectors Circle, part of Stichting Art Projects Amsterdam.
- The annual membership of The Collectors Circle runs for one year, starting from the date of registration. After the first year, the membership is automatically renewed and any introductory discounts expire.
- For members paying monthly, the membership can be cancelled after three months.
- Membership can be terminated by email by contacting members@youngcollectorscircle.nl, with a notice period of one month.
- Membership is strictly personal. Participation in activities and the use of special member discounts are reserved for the member only.
- It is not possible to register a membership under multiple names.
- The members must keep The Collectors Circle informed of any changes to their address or other personal details by emailing members@youngcollectorscircle.nl.
- If payment is not made on time, or if a member displays inappropriate behaviour or complaints arise, The Collectors Circle reserves the right to suspend the membership temporarily or permanently.
- The Collectors Circle has the right to amend these terms. Any changes also apply to agreements already in place.
Ambassadors Circle
The Ambassadors Circle brings together key figures from the collecting landscape to connect and to share their knowledge and experience with a new generation. Our select group of ambassadors not only champions The Collectors Circle, they are also passionate and accomplished art collectors. The Ambassadors Circle is made up of inspiring individuals with valuable networks in the art and creative sectors. For any questions you can contact nadine@youngcollectorscircle.nl.
Circle+
In addition to all the benefits of a regular The Circle membership, you gain exclusive access to the international art world as a Circle+ member. You’ll receive personal guidance in building your art collection, make use of our personal art concierge service, take part in exclusive programmes at unique locations and enjoy VIP access to art fairs and openings. Circle+ members also receive quarterly updates on trends and developments in the art market. And last but not least, as a Circle+ member you contribute to a healthy art ecosystem, as all Circle+ income supports the development of new public programmes. Together, we strengthen both your collection and a flourishing art world.
